The 34th gay mountain hiking camp will take place from 25 July to 29 August 2026 in Val Lavizzara in Ticino. The Val Lavizzara is considered wild and romantic. It merges into the Maggia Valley to the south. From our house in the village of Mogno (approx. 1400 m), you can reach the Lago di Mognola at 2000 m and the mountains around Pizzo Cana and Pizzo Campo Tencia (up to 3000 m) via the picturesque village of Fusio. You can also hike westwards from the house.

The Colonia di Mogno is a typical group house with 2- to 5-bed rooms. In addition to the professionally equipped kitchen, there is a large dining room and four lounges, a sunny meadow and a stream behind the house.

Ticino lies to the south of the main Alpine ridge and is protected from the cold and damp air masses from the north. We can therefore hope for sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
